Interim Dean Larry Abraham dedicated the Sanger Learning Center on November 12, 2012. The Sanger family, with School of Undergraduate Studies staff, celebrated new renovations that expand student services. The Sanger Center became part of Undergraduate Studies in the fall of 2011. It will serve more than 10,000 students this year.
Dr. Abraham also announced the establishment of the Sanger Learning Assistance Fund, a new, permanent endowment in the School of Undergraduate Studies. The endowment was founded by the generosity of Dr. Philip Sanger. It will support a strategic learning program to address the specific needs of UT Austin students with learning disabilities and attention disorders. Dr. Abraham will give more details about the endowment on Monday.
