Graduate Assistant
Rebecca "Becca" Durón is the graduate assistant for the Texas Success Initiative at UT Austin and a second-year MSSW student at UT Austin, completing the Administration and Policy Practice track. She is originally from Houston, Texas. Before starting her Master’s, she graduated from St. Edward’s University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and worked at UT Health Houston. There, she worked full-time on language and cognitive development research with K-1 students. Becca is passionate about improving education in Texas, especially making it safe and impactful for all students.
