An advisor meets with a student in the Vick Center

Vick Advising Excellence Center

The Vick Advising Excellence Center serves students across campus who are looking for help exploring majors, navigating the internal transfer process, and problem-solving Core Curriculum and Flags issues. The Vick Center also focuses on advising excellence by providing all academic advisors at UT Austin with the training, tools, and resources to deliver the best advising experiences to their students.

If you have questions about course scheduling and do not intend to switch your major, you must meet with the advising office within your college/school.
