March 29, 2025 | The Capital of Texas Undergraduate Research Conference (CTURC)
William C. Powers, Jr. Student Activity Center (WCP) and Robert L. Patton Building (RLP) and Robert A. Welch Hall (WEL), 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Capital of Texas Undergraduate Research Conference (CTURC) is a student-organized event hosted by The University of Texas at Austin. Volunteers from the Undergraduate Research Committee (part of the UT Senate of College Councils) and the Texas Undergraduate Research Journal work together to organize and host this annual conference. 

April 8, 2025 | 21st Annual Louis C. Littlefield Celebrating Pharmacy Research Excellence Day (CPRED)
Etter-Harbin Alumni Center (UTX) Main Meeting Room, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Celebrating Pharmacy Research Excellence Day is named in honor of Dr. Louis C. Littlefield, longtime faculty member and administrator within the University of Texas College of Pharmacy. This annual event highlights the accomplishments of all researchers associated with UT Pharmacy, including undergraduates, Pharm.D. students, honor students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, and faculty. All researchers are encouraged to participate by submitting an abstract and creating a poster presentation of their current research. The abstracts will be published in the event proceedings that will be made available as a PDF on this webpage. Awards will be presented for one abstract for each of the categories represented. The winner will be selected and asked to do an oral presentation of their abstract. In addition, awards will also be made during the day of the event for “best poster” for each of the categories.

April 8, 2025 | Bridging Disciplines Programs (BDP) Poster Session
Main (MAI) 212, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
BDP students will present posters on the work they have been doing in their internship and research Connecting Experiences, and Digital Arts & Media BDP students will present digital demos of their creative projects.

April 9, 2025 | Longhorn Research Poster Session
Perry-Castanesda Library (PCL) UFCU Room, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Longhorn Research Poster Session (LRPS) is an exhibition of scholarly and creative work and gives students from across a variety of colleges and schools the chance to present their achievements to a campus-wide audience. For Research Week 2024, Longhorn Research Poster Session presenters will participate in one of three sessions taking place in the Perry-Castañeda Library from 10:00-10:50 a.m., 11:00 a.m.-11:50 a.m., 1:00-1:50 p.m., and 2:00-2:50 p.m. on April 9.

April 9, 2025 | Sandia National Labs – UT Austin Research Symposium
Gary L. Thomas Energy Engineering Building (GLT) Room 5.104, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The Office of the Vice President for Research, Scholarship and Creative Endeavors and Sandia National Labs invite you to a special research symposium showcasing innovative collaborations between our institutions. This event will highlight cutting-edge projects in national security, energy resilience, advanced materials, climate change and emerging technologies—demonstrating the impact of our partnership.

April 10, 2025 | McNair Scholars Poster Session
Perry-Castañeda Library (PCL) Scholars Lab, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. 
McNair Scholars will be presenting research from across departments and disciplines. Join us to view their posters and to celebrate their individual research projects. McNair Scholars seeks to increase the number of undergraduate students earning doctoral degrees who are low-income and first-generation.

April 10 - 11, 2025 | CNS Honors Thesis Symposium
Welch (WEL) WEL 3.310 and WEL 3.320, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Undergraduate students in Dean's Scholars, Health Science Scholars, and Polymathic Scholars will present their capstone research in faculty-moderated panels over two days.

April 11, 2025 | CNS Undergraduate Research Forum
Welch Hall Grand Concourse
The Technology & Science Undergraduate Research Forum is held each spring in the Welch Hall Grand Concourse. Hundreds of individual and team research presentations are showcased, including innovative student work from the Freshman Research Initiative and Inventors Program.

April 11, 2025 | Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship Program Annual Symposium
Gordon White Building (GWB) 2.206, 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
The students of Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship program (MMUF) will present their independent humanities-focused research projects. The event is open to all, please come support and learn about their outstanding research.

April 15, 2025 | Plan II Thesis Symposium
Glickman Conference Center (RLP 1.302), 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Seniors in the Plan II Honors Program present their original thesis research in a series of oral presentations. The Senior Thesis Symposium is comprised of sessions covering a wide range of interdisciplinary topics, including literature, science, history, creative writing, music, healthcare, engineering, philosophy, business, and politics. The complete program will be published one week prior to the event.

April 16, 2025 | Plan II Thesis Symposium
Glickman Conference Center (RLP 1.302), 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Seniors in the Plan II Honors Program present their original thesis research in a series of oral presentations. April 16, 2025 | The French and Italian Research Roundtable 
Jessen Auditorium HRH, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Come and hear students showcase their French and Italian knowledge! Topics range from student research and thesis projects to internships, study abroad experiences, and creative pieces.

April 17, 2025 | Arts and Entertainment Technologies Showcase
Department of Fine Arts, 4th Floor
Students in the Arts and Entertainment Technologies program will present their recent work in this poster session and showcase.

April 23, 2025 | International Relations and Global Studies Honors Poster Session
Batts Hall (BAT) 5.108, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

April 24, 2025 | Health and Society Honors Thesis Poster Session
Patton Hall (RLP) 1.302B, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
The Health & Society 2024-25 thesis cohort will present their research to culminate the academic year. Projects include quantitative and qualitative research related to health and well-being.
