STEM Supplemental Instruction Coordinator
Tonja coordinates supplemental instruction for biology and physical science, working closely with student educators to promote academic success and innovative learning strategies. She has over a decade of experience in education teaching science at the K-12 level. More recently she has developed nationally implemented STEM curricula and contributed to the creation of college science courses with a focus on metacognition. She is dedicated to creating accessible, student-centered learning experiences that inspire curiosity and growth. Tonja holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University.
