The Undergraduate College Cultural Diversity and Global Cultures Flag Committee, a subcommittee of the Undergraduate Studies Advisory Committee (UGSAC), is charged with the following
- Interpreting the Faculty Council language on the Cultural Diversity in the United States and Global Cultures Flags and proposing policies for the implementation of the Flag requirements
- Working with the Undergraduate College to approve and monitor courses carrying Cultural Diversity and Global Cultures Flags
- Making recommendations to UGSAC and the Dean of Undergraduate College about assessment methods for courses carrying Cultural Diversity and Global Cultures flags
- Making recommendations to UGSAC and the Dean of Undergraduate College about instructor development and support for faculty and graduate students teaching courses carrying the Cultural Diversity and Global Cultures Flags
- Serving as liaisons with their colleges and schools
