Posters

Research Week showcases the exciting research and creative work that undergraduates are pursuing every day at UT. By presenting at a poster session, symposium, or exhibit, you can receive feedback on your work and gain an impressive credential for applying to graduate schools or jobs. Check with your academic advisor or your faculty mentor to see if there are opportunities to present your work at an event hosted by your college or department. Deadlines for college and departmental events vary, and you should contact your academic advisor for details.

The registration deadline to present at the Longhorn Research Poster Session on April 10, 2024 in the Perry-Castañeda Library is March 8. Presenters will receive instructions for poster submission and printing via email. Presenters must submit PDFs of posters by April 1 in order to make the printing deadline.

This year, students can compete for thousands of dollars in awards recognizing UT’s top student research posters, including a $1000 audience choice award, a $500 poster design award, and presentation awards for students nominated by their colleges. Details will be sent to nominated students in early April.

Students who plan to present a research poster at the Longhorn Research Poster Session must attend a poster design workshop through the Office of Undergraduate Research or through their department or program. Register for a poster workshop offered by the Office of Undergraduate Research.
